Hello people!

 

Been looking up mods and more for the LSPDFR mod in itself and down below is a lsit of which I feel happy with, don't think I've missed anything but if I have feel free to link them. I am looking for traffic cop stuff and backup mostly, no gang task force or anything more advanced than a normal cop. Again this list should be good I think, if not I do appreciate any help and I hope that I have posted this in the right place this time. Still new to the site, this is also off topic but how do you switch between LSPDFR to GTA V and GTA Online?

• OpenIV (IS THIS NEEDED FOR WHAT I WANNA DO?)
• Code 3 Callouts by Stealth22
• LSPDFR Computer+ by PieRGud
• Arrest Manager by Albo1125
• Callout Manager by PieRGud
• LSPDFR+ by Albo1125
• Ped Search by FtDLulz
• Player Location Display by Lt.Caine
• Police SmartRadio by Albo1125
• Traffic Policer by Albo1125
• Vehicle Searh by FtDLulz
• Better EMS by PNWParksFan

 

Again I appreciate any help to add, edit or remove any of these mods. All I want to do is to roleplay as a normal traffic cop with a few extra touches into the criminal underworld. Cheers lads

You can either have two GTA directories, one for modded and one for GTA Online/vanilla, or you can just remove the dinput file from your GTA directory.  (but move it somewhere such as your desktop where you'll still have it)

Well, let's hope I don't get banned, gonna double check it several times but sounds easy enough. I'm probably a pain but I'm a control freak, need to know stuff all the time and usually before I can even do anything about it!

I more-so encourage the two directories method.  I've never tried the dinput method myself because I'm leery on it.  I've just heard from several people it works.

So I got to the folder of where I installed GTA V, I select it, press copy and paste to create a second folder of the same file. Name them Modded and Vanilla for example, then I just go to the selected folder of which I'd like to play and double click on the GTA V version. Of course isntall LSPDFR and mods into the modded one? :D

captain14's cars go up to police7, so you'll need to add a police8.

if you want, PM me all the necessary files (vehicles.meta from mods>update>x64>dlcpacks>lspdpack->dlc.rpf>common>data>levels>gta5, carvariations.meta from mods>update>x64>dlcpack>lspdpack->dlc.rpf->common>data, and the volvo files) and i'll do it for ya.

Now you're going way out of my PC comfort zone, I wouldn't know what to do even if you told me. I'm more of a guy who sees it on YouTube to be able to do it :D

That's fair enough. If it's cool with you, we could do some sort of screen-sharing arrangement and I'll walk you through it (I've added enough cars in my time to be fairly confident, and everyone needs to start somewhere :) )

oh and you'll definitely need openIV :)

it simply allows you to access and modify packaged game files (.rpf s). It's a very useful tool and essential. captain14's packs use it to install themselves, and you'll need it if you plan to do any further modding - such as that volvo.

Like I said man, I am very happy to walk you through the entire process in some sort of screen-share thing (maybe TeamViewer), so hmu in PMs if you wanna set that up. After all, everyone was a noob at some point (even Mr. Albo :D)

There is no point since nothing wants to install for me even when I follow the instructions, tried to get traffic policer and some other stuff, they wont load cause I don't have the latest even when I do. So I give up man...

You gotta get the latest Albo1125.Common.Dll from the download page, it isn't packaged with traffic policer etc. I'll link it :)

Can't bother dude, I followed the steps from ALbo1125 from the modpage and Jeff Favignano's videos but still wont work. Get an error message in game that they haven't loaded...

what else are you trying to install that won't work?

Traffic Policer, Arrest Manager and some Police Radio. According to videos and readme files they are all compatible and should work but none of them are...

if you really can't be arsed I don't blame you, but I would highly recommend sticking it out. Some of the tutorial videos are out of date, so you may have to use some of your troubleshooting/googling skills. Either way, what's the actual error you're getting?

they're all Albo mods iirc, so like i said you'll need the latest albo1125.common.dll that i linked. are you using police radio or police smart radio? smart radio is the replacement for radio, so I'd use that.

Nothing works dude, I follow the steps of the readme files and I do what they say but it's still not working. It just tells me that it's outdated, there are no other version to try but the ones availble here -.-

it's outdated cos you need the latest albo1125.common dll, which isn't packaged with the mods. do you have it? 

does anything else work? like the base lspdfr?
