I'm having major issues with the in game commands. They keep getting changed with the mods I add like the arrest and callouts. For instance it says to interact with so and so I need to use numpad5. I don't have a number pad I have a laptop with numbers up top only. Is there a mod that I can download  for just a set in game functions and I'm not losing my mind trying to guess things?

Almost every mod has an INI.  In here you can change the keybinding.

Ok so in the ini file I just go in and change the binding?

Yep! Please make sure you read it carefully so you understand what you're changing.

i read all of them and i cant find the one for walking up to a arson attempt and talk to them. says press numpad5 and i dont have it and i cant find the file for it to change it at all idk why. i checked all the files for it as well.

Which callout pack is it?

It's the one with the arson call out and the extra callouts like rape and so on. I'm at dinner with wife sorry she is having her cravings 😁

Ha ha, no biggie.  Take your time.  When you get home, please let me know which pack that is.  I have a crap ton in my game, and most likely this one, but have no clue which it is off the top of my head.

I dont know what file it is in where i would need to look into for the numpad5 scenario. 

this is the file where the attempted call would be in im pretty sure but i cant find the numpad5 in there unless i missed something in the install let me know what you think

From Google searching, it appears  AttemptedCrimeCallouts is the one with arson.  However, it doesn't have an INI, so you're unable to change keybindings.  I'd ask the mod author if the numpad5 keybind gets reset if there's no numpad.

copy that, i will try and ask but do i send a pm to the mod author or how do i go about that situation.

Head over to the Attempted Crime Callouts page and post in the comments tagging the author.

i just posted a comment hopefully i can get that resolved beacuse there are so many bugs not only does that not work but also ill blip to pull over and change sirens and the guy im in pursuit of just drives straight and the driver of that vehicle glitches out and just keeps gas to the floor and doesnt turn. my last suspect drove into the water lol and i wasnt chasing them so i had to kill them to cancel the mission which was a bit bothersome let me know if you have any issue like that because i think that might have to do with my bindings idk

For the suspect driving in a straight line, this is a result of ELS's traffic control.  This feature is not really useable.  Open the ELS INI and look for "ELSTrafCTRL", set to false. This won't happen anymore.

i dont know where to find that, tomorrow morning i will look if you can post steps for me please.

ELS INI is in the main GTA V directory. Just open it and you'll find it. :)

 

Then, where it says ELSTrafCTRL, set to false.

im having an issue using the computer and then issueing tickets to the driver after i use the computer this is one of those times where the keys arent working like lcontrol and up arrow
