Lights and Windows Black out need a fix?

Featured Replies

Looking for some help on this issue as i have corrected my diffuse tints to <diffuseTint value="0x00FFFFFF" /> and they still blackout on certain vehicles not allowing my lights to work. I have tried using a trainer to stock the windows and this works but i really cant keep doing that everytime i use a vehicle with them blacked out. Does anyone know a permenant solution please :)

TIA

could be that the vehicle is getting "dirty" and once that happens with some modded vehicles the dirt texture causes the light bars and lights to be hidden completely....sucks but seems the only fix i've found for that is to delete the "window dirt" or "glass dirt" texture in the .ytd file in open IV, but if you do that, your car will never be dirty...

Did you edit the correct vehicles.meta file? Cause usually it fixes it if you change the tint value in the correct spot.

The Vehicle.Meta Lines have just been copied and pasted from original vehicles or what was given from the creators and then minor edits by myself not removing any lines though. I have looked and all the tint lines are all the same throughout each vehicle section

what i meant was what directory you replaced, the vehicle.meta, like under the "update>update.rpf>common>data>levels>gtav "  ?

If you replaced that one, then it should not be messing up like that. (at least not for replaced original vehicles)  if its added vehicles then it will be a different directory.
