The latest updated version of RAGE Plugin Hook, required to play LSPDFR, can be found inside the LSPDFR download. It is not currently available on the RAGE Plugin Hook website.

Hi,

I've been trying to install RDE along with LSPDFR following the instructions given in this link but I'm stuck right after I installed LSPDFR.

It's an infinite loading screen with the text saying "Loading story mode with Rage Pluginhook" or something.

Before this infinite loading screen occurs, the game launched and loaded well and RDE surely worked.

(I even called in-game 911 and saw a cop car came by, and it was different from vanilla one)

 

I tried to sit and watch till hopefully the loading will end but I ended up wasting my 7 minutes.

I think I followed the instruction one by one carefully, but it doesn't seem to work.

I just tried launching the game from Steam and it didn't even launch, and the launcher said it couldn't sync with the cloud or something like that.

I then clicked "Play" anyway and this time it launched but crashed to desktop on the loading screen. The launcher and windows error dialog (the one you get when an application stops responding) both said "unexpected error occurred".

 

The second attempt was slightly different which the launcher didn't say anything about error with synchronizing. Other than that it was the same as the first attempt.

I think I got the problem fixed. I was so stupid that I forgot about Steam file verification...

I verified the game files through steam and 3 of .rpf files were missing. Steam downloaded them, and now the game launches and runs fine!
