ELS not working

Featured Replies

ELS is simply not working. Yes, i have tried RCtrl + P, J, K , L - it's not working.

VCF file is in the pack_default folder. All 4 installation files for ELS are in the GTA V directory.

When pressing J, K etc can you hear a beep?

This will help understand if the problem is with the files or the game.

Nope, nothing. It's like ELS isn't even loaded into the game.

It's probably worth noting that all the lights, LEDs, halogens on the car are turned on. They're just static. But that's the normal behavior of ELS cars without ELS i believe.

Whats the VCF file name and the CVPI's model? These need to be the same.

Example:

If the CVPI is in the police2 slot the VCF file also needs to be called police2.

Double check your scroll lock key is not activated when you enter the game (this can lock the controls).

Go in game and see if the ELS Menu will display by pressing CTRL+P.

Okay, i fixed it. The problem was i thought AdvancedHook was a substitute for ScriptHook. I had a break from modding so excuse me lol

All i needed to do is have both the AdvancedHook.dll included with ELS and ScriptHook installed. Stupid mistake.

Thx for help
