A rip-off?

Featured Replies

Question of the day:

CPU: Intel i5 7400 QuadCore (3.0 GHZ; 3.5 at turbo)
GPU: GeForce GTX 1070 || 8GB
RAM: 16 GB DDR4 Ram || 2133 GHZ
Storage:
SATA-III HDD 1TB [I know I know, sucks not having SDD as primary for the OS]

Includes a 22" Widescreen 1080p monitor Full HD, LED keyboard + Mouse+Pad, a G2 AVP Gamer headset and pre-installed Windows 10.

Cost: 1532$
For a prebuilt, is this a rip-off? Because the offers seem atractive...

honestly prebuilts are a real attractive offer all the time now. Especially with the GPU pricing market right now. The price does seem a little high to me. Especially with only a 7400, but i also do not know what mobo, or exact GPU. But all the peripherals they are including it does not seem like a bad deal.. Best way to check is to take all the parts and look them up on pcpartpicker and price it out, if you are only saving a couple dollars building it yourself then its def worth it.

I priced out each component listed ( cheapest) and the total sum for all is $1,030.97

I did check on part picker. But considering free shipping, general warranty and pre-isntalled W10, it doesnt really seem a bad idea. Plus the case looks great.

I thought exatcly the same @onebad97cobra. Those damn cryptominers screwed the GPU market over the few past months. Its a sure thing if you buy this PC when parts hit a very high price. Both consumer and store are protected
