Will my PC run LSPDFR fine?

Featured Replies

Hello everyone so I'm buying a new computer and I kinda settled on two at this time and I'm a big LSPDFR fan so I was wondering if either one of these will run LSPDFR without a lot of game crashes? I don't plan on using an enb or a lot of other mods just keeping it vanilla for the most part. Anyways, the first computer is the Dell Inspiron gaming one. It's a windows 10, has the 7th gen intel core i5-7400 processor, 12 GB of ram, and 1TB of hard drive space. The second computer that I was looking at was the Lenova Erazer X315 which has a AMD FX-Series FX-770K, 8 GB of DDR3, 1 TB of hard drive space, windows 10 the 64 bit and AMD Radeon R9 360 2 GB GDDR5. So which one would run LSPDFR better and which one should I invest in? The Dell is cheaper I think which would be good but I'd like to play LSPDFR without all the crashes.  Thanks in advance guys and galls.

Hey there! I hope I can help a little....

This is what I suggest take a look at GTA V's spec recs by Rockstar

Minimum specifications:

OS: Windows 8.1 64 Bit, Windows 8 64 Bit, Windows 7 64 Bit Service Pack 1, Windows Vista 64 Bit Service Pack 2* (*NVIDIA video card recommended if running Vista OS)

Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz (4 CPUs) / AMD Phenom 9850 Quad-Core Processor (4 CPUs) @ 2.5GHz

Memory: 4GB

Video Card: NVIDIA 9800 GT 1GB / AMD HD 4870 1GB (DX 10, 10.1, 11)

Sound Card: 100% DirectX 10 compatible

HDD Space: 65GBe

Recommended specifications:

OS: Windows 8.1 64 Bit, Windows 8 64 Bit, Windows 7 64 Bit Service Pack 1

Processor: Intel Core i5 3470 @ 3.2GHZ (4 CPUs) / AMD X8 FX-8350 @ 4GHZ (8 CPUs)

Memory: 8GBVideo Card: NVIDIA GTX 660 2GB / AMD HD7870 2GB

Sound Card: 100% DirectX 10 compatible

HDD Space: 65GB

Personally, I always think of "Recommended Specs" as minimum and ignore the other. Meet those and you should be ok.

I'm glad your going to join playing LSPDFR you'll have a lot of fun. I have a feeling tho (this was my case) once you start playing LSPDFR your going to start wanting to take advantage of ENB's, Graphic Enhancer's, etc that could require a little more out of your system. It just makes LSPDFR which is already great just as is but even better.

Have you considered building your own. I don't know what your personal price range situation is.

How come windows 10 is not a option?

Those recommendations came out long before Windows 10.  Windows 10 is probably the best stability wise for GTA V.  (once you disable the creator update)

I'd recommend building your own PC, it's pretty easy as long as you watch guides on youtube, it will take only a pinch to get the gist of it. It's basically like piecing together legos, and it's easier than assembling IKEA furniture. I've had no prior experience and my build only took 2 hours (alot of that time was wasted by not knowing how to seat my ryzen 5 1600 cpu correctly into the motherboard socket.

Hi everyone. So I want to play LSPDFR on really good settings. High FPS, lots and lots of mods, amazing graphics, etc. Can someone review this PC build?
