AI Are Stupid (er Than Usual)

Featured Replies

So for me the AI are acting stupider than usual. I'm not too sure this is the correct section, but oh well. So whenever I'm behind a vehicle that I'm trying to pull over or pursuing they freak out and floor it straight ahead. It happens around 25% of the time. There's not too much to say about my issue.

In your main GTA V directory, open ELS.INI.  Look for "ELSTRAFCTRL".  Disable this option.

Don't blip your siren or use any ELS siren functions when you're doing a traffic stop. ELS freaks out over it's "clear the path" function or whatever and forces the person(s) to keep driving in a forward motion until the stop is cancelled.

Oh yes. I recently reinstalled and forgot to turn it off. Thanks!

What happens when this functionality is switched off and you are driving around with lights on, no sirens?

I noticed that traffic responds to light stage 3 but not light stage 2.  Would be nice if they responded in light stage 2 as well.

The AI will respond normally.  They will pull over or stop as they would prior to ELS, they just won't move over as much or go crazy during traffic stops.

That'd be something to suggest in the ELS file.
