Black lightbar removal

Featured Replies

I know how to get rid of a black light bar in game with a trainer, just remove tint!

But, how can I remove it permanently and for other cars? I know a certain line of code removes the tint but where? Please help. Also, I am using notepad to open the vehicles.meta and will replace it in OpenIV after I'm done editing.

EDIT: I'm trying to fix the pranger spot. Sorry if I don't reply right away. I'm currently sleeping so I will reply ASAP. :)

Police put their lives on the line for you. Think about how you should treat them, because you may see a familiar cop one day, but not see him the next.

Hey there. The fix for the window tint is easy, and you were on the right spot with the vehicles.meta.  Look for this line:

"diffusetint"  Change that value to 0x00FFFFFF

It's in the vehicles.meta. Just press CTRL+F, and search diffusetint. :P

Does it have to be specific to the PRANGER spot?

Also, I don't want to remove all tint. Just the lightbar?

You can still add tint via your trainer, but it may still affect your light bar.  I think you'd actually have to edit the model to remove certain tint.
