Assorted Callout make my game crash

Featured Replies

Hello everybody,

I'm here because i have some problem with the mod/scripts assorted callout. After the installation of assorted callout, when i start a patrol and that i ask a mission, my gta 5 crash. I checked my ragepluginhook log file and i find that the problem was from LSPDFR. The thing is that before i installed Assorted Callout my game wasn't crashing. If someone could give me some tips or solution to fix my game, it will be highly appreciated.

I don't read French, but thankfully, I can make out the error. XD  Are you positive you installed the plugin correctly? The problem is stepping from the audio helper, which indicates that it might be missing the audio files for the plugin.

I need donations to help fund my food addiction. DM for details 😂

I also cannot read french but judging by this:

The problem is stepping from the audio helper, which indicates that it might be missing the audio files for the plugin.

the following may be the cause. When you installed the files, windows (or whatever system you are on) notified you that it could not copy over some files. You probably hit skip all or skip some leading to your game being short a few (important, it seems) audio files. When this happens, sometimes the game will substitute other files in its place. In your case, it sounds like it did not and actually crashed the game. Lets go back to when you installed the callouts. What that message might have said was something similar to the file names being too big/long leading to a file address that would be too long for the computer to handle. An easy way around this is to extract the zipped file to your desktop and copy them over to your game from that location, as the desktop address is extreamly short, whereas, in my case,  I have my GTA downloads organized and have my plugins and callout addons sorted out in folders, leading to an incredibly long address like so: [...] > downloads > GTA Downloads > Mods > Plugins > LSPDFR vs This PC > Desktop  . When the audio files are named like so: AREA_CHILLIAD_MOUNTAIN_STATE_WILDERNESS_01 the address can get too long. By making the address shorter, you can eliminate the error.

IDK if this is the solution or cause or not as I, as stated earlier, cannot read french. But if it is, hopefully this works.
