Blurry while driving

Featured Replies

I recently did a fresh install of my lspdfr, before my graphics were working perfect now when I drive the game is a little blurry which is very annoying to me. Someone said to turn of postfx and I did and it helps a lot, only problem with turning that off is it makes my lights in game look like crap. Can someone please help me?

No sir, i'm using makevisualsgreatagain. Do you recommend switching?

i use to use that one i changed to visual v

go to the makevisualsgreatagain folder go options  then click motion blur

then open openiv  go to this

mods\update\update.rpf\common\data\timecycle

and edit drag the names file (timecycle_mods_1.xml) to there

both is as good as the other  visual v just makes the game not so bright i found

I did this, like I said when I turn postfx to normal the game runs perfect, is there any other way to get bright lights without postfx on high or ultra settings

Make sure you also have your shader quality at the highest you can take it too. Both shader + post fx have a visual impact on lights. Turn off all motion blur and I would advise turning off DOF too, most games can't make proper DOF and GtaV is one of them.

Also, if any custom visual mods have custom DOF/Motion blur, just remove that component to that mod. It's very few and far between that someone can make a quality DOF/Motion blur setting without making one barf or having a negative effect.  Personally the way I go about it is if a game company can't make proper motion blur or DOF, then chances are a random modder can't either.

I run VisualV and Blackhallows custom visualsettings.dat file ajoined with a mix of ultra and high settings, some of which are controlled via nVidia. Game looks sharp, crisp with excellent lighting and absolutely no performance loss or very little.
