i think it works now i put police.xml named scocher in els haha i have lights so i think i can stop them now

And the siren is the front light of the bike so its cool looking too

I didn't even think about ELS because it was a bicycle.  My bad.

sirens work but they dont stop for me or go out of my way i just doing some stuff hoping getting it to work.

In the ELS settings, make sure "ELSTrafCTRL" is set to false, if it wasn't already.

Wrong thing. :P  Go in your main GTA V directory, look for ELS config/ELS INI.  Open it, and find "ELStrafCTRLOn", set to false.

The last thing I can suggest is that after you blip them, make sure you're right on their tail. Maybe you're not close enough to the cars?

yeah i did i was infront even side back all the way in the front well idk maby some day somone releases a els bike

I unfortunately doubt that.  Ever since LSPDFR's release, there's only been 1 or 2 police bicycle's released, and this is counting multiple modding sites.  The demand for bicycles isn't really there. 

 

I assume you're using the game standard version, but here is a police bicycle released that looks good.  It just doesn't have lights or anything. so you'll just have to stick with either foot patrols.

Was this ever figured out? @Giordano @mr.chest Been thinking of looking for a bicycle to add just not sure what to go with or what changes will have to be made. Not really out to stop vehicles with it however it would be nice to be able 2 flag down a vehicle if necessary. For example flagging down an intoxicated person you dont want on the roads then youd be able to call for a marked unit and deal with it from there. If you were using an els file like you were wouldnt you want the els traffic control set to true so it controls traffic as if it was a normal els car or does that not affect traffic stops? Also if you were not going to use this to stop vehicles is there any point to making a whole meta and everything to add the flags and make it a police vehicle or would it make more sense to just replace the scorcher and set it to not spawn in cargen so civilians dont show up riding it then essentially just use it like u were on a foot patrol being that you cant stop pedestrians when your not on foot anyway?

 

Sorry for the longwinded confusing questions but theres not much info on bicycles it seems and i havent gotten into the add on method yet. Just trying to find the most painless / efficient way to install one and get it functioning the way id like without spending a ton of time on trial and error. Thanks for any info guys.

Unfortunately, there's no way to flag vehicles with the bike, as they have no lights or siren.  Your only option would be getting in front of the vehicle, getting off the bike, and stopping them at gun point.

 

I've never installed a standalone bicycle, but it should still be easy as long as you use the proper meta for it. However, I have no idea where a bicycle meta is.  My advice is searching in OpenIV for Scorcher, finding what dlc or patchday it's in, then grab it's meta.
