Zmodeler Help?

Featured Replies

I've created two grill lights using the "box" tool (Same menu as "dummy helper"), applied the texture, and then placed them in the hierarchy of my car. I've then exported the file to a .wft and then imported via openiv to GTA

I'm experiencing two problems

1) During the export I get the error message:

Missing shader configuration for shader "gta_vehicle_lights2" in material "lights2". Defaulting to "gta_default".

2) When I get in-game the grill lights don't show!

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks,

-Tom

lights2 is not a gta material.

you have to name it one of the gta car materials,

i suggest mesh or either lightsemissive.

also i suggest using defualt gta iv car models as your reference for materials names and layers and heiarchy

also the reason why you cant see you grill lights is because one your material isn't named correctly ( which it isn't)

and two because your material layers arent set up correctly

@GTApolicetrucker, thanks for your help, it's really appreciated. I've renamed the lights texture to "mesh" and that's cleared up the error message, though the two lights still don't show in game.....
