Should I run this with EFLC or normal GTA4?

Featured Replies

Like the topic said, should I use EFLC?

Another question, how do they work? Should I run The Lost and Damned, or Gay Tony? Also do I get all the content from the entire series if I run it through EFLC?

What are the benefits of using EFLC over GTA to run this mod?

What is "This"? if you mean LCPD:FR Then you can choose wich. I personally use Gay tony because there is more policecars in that one so i get more cars to choose from when i startup.

I perfer GTA4 over EFLC, since I don't like the weird color distorstion thing it does on the episodes.

But if you really want the extra police vehicles, you can always install this on GTA4:

EFLC only runs the DLCs that are ment for GTA4. It's stand-alone type game. Which means you don't need a copy of GTA4 to play the new DLC content. TLAD and TBoGT are seperate and can not be played at the same time. So you have to chose to play one or the other. You have the ability to switch between them if one chooses to.

As in "this mod," I'd asume LCPDFR. There isn't really and benefits. Mod does the same on both games. Only thing extra it does is only in TBoGT, I believe it will spawn cops on the new police vehicles when doing pursuits and what not.

Can you select those Police Vehicles when your in the station? You now when you start LCPDFR. or do you have to spwan them with SNT?

But great mod anyways xD

Using that method of adding in new police vehicles into GTA IV, no. LCPD:FR does not recognize police vehicles added that way; they only work in EFLC. This means that, not only can you not choose them in the vehicle selection in LCPD:FR, but you also can't pull other vehicles over nor access the MDT either while in added police vehicles. However, you can indeed spawn them using SNT after you customize the .ini configuration settings to allow custom vehicles to spawn.

I found out how to add added cars in SNT by myself but thx xD

Bit you are wrong with the traffic stop xD

i just tried it with the police stinger and it did work. The problem is that you can't use the police computer so you can't check the suspects license. But you still can issue tickets, aksed the driver to step out ect ect. you just won't be able to check the license xD

Funny, I tried that with the police3 and policeb slots, and they both didn't work. Maybe I didn't do thorough testing, but I was sure that you couldn't pull people over with added slots in GTA IV, unlike EFLC. Glad to know it works for you! I'll have to try it again sometime.
