How do I change the controls for ELS? There are some orange lights in the cars lightbar which are activated with the L and K keys. But those keys also activate the cars side indicators which is very annoying. How do I change the controls for either the ELS features or the blinkers?

You can change the default ELS keys by changing them in the ELS.ini.

 

There, you will see numbers, that represent the key.

 

To view the key code to see which letter is represented by a number, use your ELS Documentation pdf that you get when you install ELS.

I have the same problem. If i change my secundary lights (with K) the turnsignal starts. The same thing with the warning lights (with L). I tried to change the buttoms in the els config file but then this happend. HELP. Its stuck like this. (The turnsignals are not flashing, they are just switched on with a steady light)

I have a CM keyboard.  Scrolllock turns the keyboard backlights on/off.  I had to go into the .ini and change the scroll lock to the END key.  Made a word of difference.

you have to right click on it in OpenIV and hit edit
