ELS Not bright

Featured Replies

My ELS isn't bright at all, practically invisible at night. Tried Radiance V and Realistic Radiance, but neither seemed to help the issue. Perhaps I need a custom VisualSettings? Please help!

Uninstall Radiance and all other visual modifications, such as an ENB. With ELS, you MUST make sure that your Shader and Post FX quality in your settings menu are set to MAX. I used to have this issue, and what fixed it for me was re-installing ELS and Radiance. They go hand-in-hand, and there is no need for any other lighting mod. Be sure to install Radiance in your MODS folder. The path should be:

Mods\update\update.rpf\common\data

There you'll find the VisualSettings.dat file.

Hope this helps.

you can try to change some settings in your visualsettings.dat which is like OfficerSmith4196 said in:

go down to car.sirens and add/change the following line to your likings.

car.sirens.SpecularFade    15.0
car.sirens.ShadowFade 35.0
car.sirens.intensity     70.0
car.sirens.radius     50.0

These are the settings I am using with ingame screens. Furthermore I don't use any visual mod.

Didn't seem to work :( I have Visual V installed as well, think that could be causing an issue?

Update: I figured out how to edit your light settings. All you need to do is change your car.emissive lights on vehicles.meta
