It's purely for RP.  I believe once you finish the traffic stop, that ticket you wrote vanishes.  I'm still on an old version of Rage and Computer+, so this ability isn't there for me to know if they save.  (I highly doubt this, though.)

I couldn't tell if the new "add arrest report" feature was bugged for me or not.

I can fill out an arrest report fine and dandy but when I try to save the report it does nothing.

 

If I'm not the only one that's having this problem then it must be solely for RP purposes. (right now... update soon?)

 

A mod I would like to see would be "Story missions" similar to heists that involve an investigation that takes place

over a period of days or weeks culminating in a big showdown. But that would be a ridiculous amount of coding and

the modders have been nice enough to us already so I'd rather not be demanding more from them.

 

A (simpler) mod I'd like to suggest would be a persistent career where you earn money for each day of service and 

bonuses for good work where you can buy a house and actually have your cop character have a separate life outside

of the force. I don't think that would be too much... right?

I highly doubt the option will ever come to save these written tickets.   Reason being I'd like to know where these save would be. Considering how many people use LSPDFR, that would be a lot of storage if he got a server for them. I doubt they'd be stored on our computer without our knowledge.  My guess is that it will always be RP, and you can't save them.
