Low FPS on Decent PC

Featured Replies

Hello, I have recently installed GTA V again hoping to get back into the LSPDFR community. I am having a very big issue though, no matter what I do I get very low fps 5-20 and it is unplayable. I searched google and these forums and pretty much did everything. Reinstalled drivers, uninstalled and reinstalled the game, and various other things. I do not believe it is my hardware because I can run pretty much every other game no issue. Even with the settings all lowered to the minimum I still only get around 15-20 FPS but very choppy.

Here are my specs:

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080

i7-4790K

z97x gaming 7 motherboard

16GBs of ram

As you can see I have a pretty decent computer and have no issue running any other game. Except GTA V.

Thanks for your help

Have you set gta v to optimal setting in geforce experience and try open nvidia control panel and change gta to using graphics driver or cpu driver or intergrate depends on you and which gives most frame. It could be one of a mod that is causing the problem

I've done all of that and still getting bad FPS. When I use the geforce experience it sets everything to the highest settings which brings me to around 1-5 FPS. I do not believe it could be mod related because I have done a complete fresh install.
