Movie Maker Question

Featured Replies

I'm currently editing a patrol in LSPDFR in Windows Movie Maker, and I'm trying to add a video-long watermark [on my non-gaming channel I've had video-theft issues in the past]. However, captions only go for 30 or 40 seconds at a time, and the video is about 40 minutes long. How do I make it so that I don't need 20 billion captions?

I don't understand the point of signatures on this site. What the fuck is the point?

Thats the only way I know of. Movie Maker is crap tbh, but its free.

I'm looking into other options. It really isn't that good

Yeah. For being a free software there is a decent amount you can do with it, but it makes you do somethings in a really unorthodox way. Like in this case having to make the same caption a million times.

There is only 30 or 40 seconds available for a caption under the drop down for the "Text Duration", but I just tried typing in 1120.00 seconds for a random number on a random video I made a while ago & it worked. It made the caption last my entire video. Just gotta convert your minutes into seconds & then type in the "custom" amount of seconds.

Of course, if you wish there is a setting on YouTube that allows you to watermark basically every video you've ever uploaded on that channel, & when a user puts their mouse cursor over that mark, it gives them the Subscribe button as well.

Hope this helped!

P.S. Here's a random video off my channel that was "recentish", but I checked a video I uploaded 5 yrs ago (2012) & it to, has the watermark. Bottom right corner for what  am speaking of. Plz note, the video below, I intended it to be used as an example of what I mean & chose it because it's the most "recent" video on my channel as life has taken priority over YouTube since the video was uploaded...

Edit again: In the actual video below, I noticed I somehow also did a small watermark of the same image, in the bottom left corner. I'm looking into how I did that.

You can edit how long the caption you want it to be, I forget with tab its in, but I think you will see text options with a start and end time field, for some reason Movie Maker isnt letting me install it right now so I cant check for you. If you dont want to convert time to seconds to the end time field, just do what I do and type in 9999, it will automatically send it to the end.
