I downloaded this texture pack

As I think that looks amazing to replace some of the textures on these cars

I replaced and changed the textures in the YTD files using OpenIV to the ones I want.

Opened the YFT using OpenIV and checked on the model viewer and the car looks exactly how I want it but when I actually spawn the car in-game, it still looks like the Sandy Shores Mega Pack car and not the Blaine County Sheriff Texture Pack one.

What am I doing wrong, am I missing something?

1. Did you install in the latest patchday?

2. Did you replace the exact same name in the ytd. file?

 

Sometimes the names are not correct for that specific vehicle

 

For example: It may say cvpi_sign_1

 

The cars file might be named cvpi_sign1

 

You need to make sure it replaces the exact same texture that it is suppose to replace.

My god, thank you so much my friend.

That's exactly what it was, there was an underscore missing in the file name.

Now if I can just get these ELS files to work so the sirens work like they should, they are doing my nut in.

if you are on 1032 the latest patch ELS will not work until the new scripthook V is out for the patch if you wanted to completelt replace the default texture you open the ytd, select the texture that you want gone and hit replace, it will change the name to it and will default to it..then just hit save
