Hey everyone, So since GTA has updated I can't get into the game, When I run the game from steam it, stops working and closes, and when I run the new Ragehook it loads all my mods and then it stay's in the loading screen. Any suggestions? 

Right click on the game in Steam, click the button my cursor is over.

Try deleting the entire game and reinstalling. This game can be a pain in the ass sometimes after updates.

 

Then run it without any mods to make sure it all works.

Im updating the update.rpf in OpenIV to see if that works

 

I got it to work I just gotta reinstall all my mods that were in the update.rpf. Thanks everyone

also you might have to wait to install plugins untill they get an update too or else that will crash your game too.

 

ive only had erros with albos plugins so far

Just remember. When your game updates and you have a mods folder. Your game will break because of it since every DLC patch updates the update.rpf.. Leaving your update.rpf in your mods folder outdated (trying to run your updated game on an outdated update.rpf file will cause issues).

 

Always update your mods folder when patches are released. It's why i recommend having two directories (one for vanilla and the other for modding) so you don't have to deal with the mods folder issues when patches are released.

If  you got a copy of your game with the .944 version you have to do this if already installed the new GTA V version:

 

Of your .944 version copy "steam_api64.dll" on yours actual gta v new version, revert with rage hook. And there you go.
