Recently just had this problem the other day. I was playing LSPDFR and i went to make a traffic stop, none of the lights except for the wigwags in the front and back worked. I quit the game and played again last night where the exact same thing happened, this is happening for all of my ELS vehicles not just certain ones. This is strange because I did not change any ELS settings. If anyone else had the problem or knows a fix that would be great.

 

UPDATE: I have realized that it must be an ELS problem (but the thing that is confusing me is that i have already reinstalled ELS and it still does not work) because when i look in the ELS window in game it does not show any of the lights working. In the picture I  am in light stage 3 (code 3) and there are no lights other than the wigwags in the tail lights on.

Make sure you install the VCFs, ScriptHook, ScriptHookVDotNet, and Advanced Hook

Yeah I have all of that and just checked to make sure that I have all of it too and it still does not work.

I have the exact same issue right now.... like exactly the same as you and i have no idea how to fix it

 

Try to change the light settings. For example, you can change the PRML light patters with U or Alt+U or change the headlight patters with Alt+1. Please tell me what happens. (You might need the els display open)

Yes i have tried that before you had suggested it and on the els display the number of the pattern of lights would change but nothing would happen to the actual vehicle. The reason i am extremely confused is because i even reinstalled ELS cometely and the problem is still happening.

It most likely is the vehicle you are using. You might have installed the vehicle in-correctly or the person who created it made it wrong. One other thing you could do is send me a screenshot of your ELS>pack_default folder.

It does this for all vehicles not just the one in the screenshot. The person did not make it wrong because I was able to use all of my vehicles perfectly fine, I had made no edits to the game then one day literally every els vehicle stopped working. 

This is super confusing. One more thing though, load up your game and test the lights. If you're still having the problem, then close the game as you usually would and open your GTA 5 root folder. Then scroll down to when you find ELS's config file and a text document. Copy that text document called "ELS" and attach it to a reply. I've attatched a photo below so you know what it looks like.

Actually u might just need to re-install ASIloader. That helped someone else with a similar issue...

Alright I will try reinstalling ASI loader and let you know. I also attached my ELS file

Hmm... this says all vehicles loaded. The only thing i can think of is to re-install els. This means deleting all els files and then reinstalling them. I'll provide a link to the page. 1] Download the latest ELS 1.05 from the site. 2] Copy all VCF's from your current ELS>pack_default into another folder so you don't loose those 3] Drag and drop the installation files from the els download folder into you gta 5 root folder 4] Replace/merge any files 5] Then you can drag and drop you VCF's back into the newly replaced ELS>pack_default folder. 6] load up your game using ragepluginhook and see what happens

Make sure you download the 1.05.rar not the 1.00rar cause its the most recent version.

Just tried reinstalling it again. Still does not work. Do you think it could possibly be an issue with Captin14's LSPD Pack? Last night I completely reinstalled LSPDFR and I put Captin14's LSPD Pack in so that I can get some extra slots and it does not work on the reinstall either. I do not see why that could be the issue since I had the pack in for about two weeks before the issue started but I thought of it last night when I installed it to my new install of LSPDFR and thought that could be the issue

So I visited their website and it says this:

One thing you could do is go into your backup and replace the edited carvariantions.meta with the original one, then re-install the cavariations.meta files from the police car pack. Also you should try to install a different els vehicle. Since you have reinstalled els and lspdfr, we can eliminate those as potential issues with this problem.

The vehicles I am installing do not come with metas. Also I have installed several different vehicles in different slots just to eliminate the possibility it could be one vehicle slot.

Yup, I am having this same exact problem and can't figure out what is causing it. I started GTA V like normal today and when I tried to turn on the light in a car experienced the exact same thing you did. I haven't changed a single thing since I last played a few days ago and the lights worked perfectly. This is a very strange bug, will update if I find a solution.

Just to try an eliminate a possible cause, have you installed Captin14's non ELS LSPD pack into your current game?

 

I do not.

 

Update I found a solution that worked for me. 

 

Go to open IV and select ASI manager, once there uninstall ASI loader and Open ASI. Then reinstall both and restart your computer. It worked for me so hopefully it solves your problem.

Ok thanks i have reinstalled asi loader but not open asi and i have not restarted my computer. I will try and let you know.
