I recently downloaded ELS and got some custom cars to replace police, 2, 3, transporter, old1, old2.

The cars load fine but none of the lights are working. Only my brake lights flash. The only model that I got to work was the Texas DPS charger but it wasn't modded for ELS.

 

I haven't modded in years so I'm new to the modding scene. Any troubleshooting will be welcomed.

Edit: I forgot to mention that when I went to replace the police2, it flashes for a second and then goes back to the old model with my head sticking out of the roof and no tires. When I drive in it, the doors spin around at lightning fast speed. Did I not move the right files over?

Is your light at black or is it just not working?

Do you have any lighting mods, such as RadianceV installed?

The light bar on top isn't working at all. When I get to the load out screen, it has all the extras "on" and "off" and I've tried both settings and still nothing. The front lights in the windshield, grill, and headlights don't flash either.

You might have installed your vehicles incorrectly or they weren't made correctly. Try installing a different car for ELS by a different creator. Also you can try the following solution:  In OpenIV, go to ASI Manager and uninstall ASI Loader and OpenIV.ASI and then click install again to reinstall them. Also you can try to change the light settings (Flashing speed/ type) by opening the ELS display with Ctrl+P and change the lights using the commands alt+1 or alt+2, etc. Try pressing u, i, or o to change other lights too. Maybe that would work?

 

+You need the .XML files that come with the madded car in ELS's folder as well. You said you were new to modding so if you haven't done that you drag and drop the .XML files into ELS > pack_default
