The latest updated version of RAGE Plugin Hook, required to play LSPDFR, can be found inside the LSPDFR download. It is not currently available on the RAGE Plugin Hook website.

Hey, guys.

Just wanted to start up a little discussion about your thoughts on the uniforms and peds in GTAV.

 

With the exception of EUP (which is the closest thing to realism and/or similarity to the real world), I feel like Rockstar is progressively getting more lazy with their ped work.

The duty belts aren't too bad, but I still feel like the developers could've put more effort into them.

Sad to say, I feel like the GTAIV police peds are much better than the current GTAV police peds, with a few exceptions of course.

(Kind of leaves you to wonder when Rockstar is finally gonna get it right).

 

I also wanted to know if anyone could point me in the right direction as to how to start modifying these peds? I've figured it out for vehicles, but can't find a damn clue to start.

I have to agree. GTAIV had raincoats and head skins I liked. What happened to the raincoats and the ped models in development for GTAV and made them garbage, I'd rather have IV's heads with V's uniforms. Male cop is in Patchday9 and female cop is in Patchday4. Props like Glasses and Hats are in x64e

The biggest issue I have with the default cops in V is that they're all essentially the same model; bald headed big guys that look ridiculous. The Beta cops mod by Yard1 improves them greatly, but it's annoying for the default ones to have essentially no variety except for skin colour. Maybe if we can figure out a way to get both the default and beta ones to spawn in the game it will mix things up a bit. Or maybe even an extension to EUP that spawns random generated cops.

I honestly thought when the trailer were released that R* would have improved with the vehicles and ped, however after modeling and investigating their work, I've noticed that it wasn't the case and they have just got lazy. There is hope for the next Grand Theft Auto though.
