ELS siren tones

Featured Replies

How can I change the set siren tones for ELS. I have custom sirens installed instead of the generic gta 5 sirens but all of the els vehicles I have use the same main police sirens. I have an els ambulance installed but it is using the police siren in game. how do I change it so it uses the ambulance sirens?

For the most part, there's nothing you can do. ELS is very limited in terms of siren tones.  You cannot utilize FIB tones even.  For the ambulance, however, go into the ambulance VCF, find "ambulance_warning", make sure that is set to true.  Or add it yourself if it isn't already there.

Other than that, there's really nothing else that can be done until (this is a big if) Cain ever properly updates ELS with the sirens.

Hello guys, i find out there is sounds settings into the xml file you put into the ELS folder, maybe we can change the lines used by ManTone 1, 2 and SrnTone 1, 2, 3, 4.

But i don't no how the ambulance or firetruck sirens are called and where find them.

(sorry for my english :/)

Nope, my bad, i tried to change it but in game it's not working, it's just quiet. So i search a little and i found this in the documentation of ELS, i think it's the ELS mod who need an uptade in this AudioStrings section...

I can't wait

So if you have a ELS Firetruck in your mods folder and a firetruck.xml file to the ELS folder you can still change" VEHICLES_HORNS_POLICE_WARNING" to "VEHICLES_HORNS_FIRETRUCK_WARNING" for more realism :p

I had the same issue and came here to solve it. I hope the update comes soon. In GTA 4 we all wanted custom sirens per vehicle that could work fully with the game (i.e. traffic pulls over) and we got that to an extent in GTA 5, which really helps. But then ELS tramples all over it :( Anyway, not going to target the developer, it's a reminder that his work is voluntary and free. Just an emotion of the user, not hate.

If you want custom siren tones other than the police tones you could always use siren mastery I know it means another mod installed but it would work until els is updated with sirens.

I managed to install els and siren mastery and it's working in a fashion but when I press J 3 times to go to stage 3 the siren activates, is there a way to stop the siren from coming on from the 3Rd j press?
