RPH crashes when starting

Featured Replies

Hello guys

I've been looking for a solution to my problem for hours now but I can't fix it :(

The problem I have: When I start the RPH in my GTA V folder it will run for 5 seconds before saying: GTA does not work anymore and then crash...

I have the latest version of the LSPDFR mod and the Rage Plugin Hook installed. As in various tutorials told I extracted them into the GTA V folder.

I have also installed the latest versions of Microsoft Visual C++ and Microsoft .NET Framework.

Can somebody help me?

Thanks a lot.

Best

Hey TheForecaster

Thanks for helping me!

Yes I got all of these.

The next option is to check your anti virus.  Add GTA V and LSPDFR installer as an exception.

ok I just did that, I added those two as an exception. I tried to start it again but it is still crashing. Damn.

Open Rage, but go into the settings. Go into the Advanced Settings and see if the Disable DirectX Hook option is enabled, if it is, disable it.

Can you show a Screenshot of your Exceptions, please?
Also, you just need the GTAV folder, not the installer. :)

Disable DirectX Hook results in none of the console loading. It does not impact the game loading whatsoever.
