Vehicles and ELS

Featured Replies

Hi there,

So I'm fairly new to the GTAV LSPDFR community. I got GTAV a day before christmas and as soon as it finished installing I was straight onto LSPDFR to download all these amazing add-ons! I do have one question however; can ELS vehicles be used on their own? Because, whilst ELS being a well-structured and stable mod, I prefer not to use it, as I prefer focusing soley on pursuits, patrolling and other police work, without having to worry about ELS keybinds and lighting stages.

**PS: I apologise if I have placed this in the wrong area, or this question has already been asked.

Welcome!

I believe that ELS cars require ELS in order to function.  If you'd like cars that do not use ELS search here for models that are not ELS compatible.

I would recommend filtering the results by pressing the blue "Filter by" button then selecting "Non ELS" under the "ELS Compatibility" drop-down menu.

Good luck!

I was afraid this would be the answer to this question. I prefer not to use ELS either, it's definitely a well built mod (I did try it), but it's just my personal preference not to use it. Since most of the vehicles released now will be ELS, there won't be too many new vehicles made for us in the minority that want to stick to vanilla lighting or another lighting pattern mod. Ouch.

I agree man. I'm looking into creating my own vehicles based off of dev items - these will be non-ELS. Glad I'm not the only one who doesn't prefer using ELS, I felt lonely xD
