Any assistance you can provide with this problem?  See below.  I'm stumped as to what is causing that issue.

One more question, If I install captain14's Sheriff & FIB cars with the package installer will the carcols.meta file will it mess with the lighting for the LSPD pack? or no

No.  All of those packs have their own carcols.meta so it shouldn't mess with each other.

 

FYI, if you want to use the following, you'll have to manually spawn them in via the trainer:  Police 5-7 and Sheriff 3 (the CVPI).

No.  All of those packs have their own carcols.meta so it shouldn't mess with each other.

 

FYI, if you want to use the following, you'll have to manually spawn them in via the trainer:  Police 5-7 and Sheriff 3 (the CVPI).

haha yeah I got that figured out. so if i do the package installer for the sheriff & fib the carcols.meta wont mess with the lspd pack carcols.meta?

That is correct.  Just do the package installer and it'll handle the rest.

awesome lol, also I made another discussion about my glitch problem and I was told none of the cars use els, its just els style lighting, but i gotta use the els keys to turn my emergency lights on. @HTownman77 I'm gonna tag you in my other discussion.

You always should do Backups before you install something . So if you want to install other cars just overwrite the corresponding files with the new ones and replace the carcols.ymt from Captain 14's Pack with the the original one (from the gta5 folder not the mods folder ) and all should work .And of course always read the Read Me Files provided with every car mod .

i fixed the glitch problem thank god.

Just go to where the files are at in OpenIV and simply delete them.

Filepath:  GTAV->mods->update->x64->dlcpacks

Look for the folders "sheriffpack" and "fibpack" and get rid of them.

To see if they're really gone, launch the game and try to spawn in - for example - the sheriff2 vehicle (sheriffsuv).  If something other than Captain14's Tahoe shows up, than you successfully deleted his sheriff pack.
