So, I thought I would ask a pretty simple question: How do you play LSPDFR? Do you use Mouse and Keyboard, combination of gaming controller (I.E. Xbox Controller) do you have

a secondary mini (action) keyboard?

 

I ask because I'm fairly new to the game, not GTA V in general, but new to PC. My last PC that was worth its salt was back in the Battlefield 2 days. Ever since then I've never ponied up for a PC. Now back in the PC Gaming world, I find LSPDFR to be extremely immersive. Installing dozens of mods, there is so much to remember as far as keys go.

 

I have been using an Xbox controller and alternating back to keyboard. I feel like a gymnast throwing a finger at the keyboard while trying to maintain the controller.

 

Now, I'm sure you can set key commands to make it easier, I would love to see how you have it set-up!

 

I generally use both a Controller and Keyboard.. The only time i use the keyboard is for binds.. everything else is on a controller.  Although most scripts are controller supported so i've slowly been phasing out my keyboard and just been using a controller

I play with my Logitech G27, and keyboard and mouse. I drive using the G27, and the Manual Transmission mod, just because that mod allows you to use the full 900 degree rotation, and has force feedback, and auto transmission modes, and adds a bit of realism to patrols.

Interesting , I see how using a controller for the primary aspects of lspdfr but I could not see how you could phase it out, scroll lock for ELS is required to go back and fourth between it and police radio.

 

Am I missing something?
