Rocktar Update

Featured Replies

I've been playing LCPDFR for a few months now. as of a few weeks ago, there was some sort of update through Rockstar, and now the modded game won't run but my back up files without any lcpdfr content works fine. Has anyone else had this issue? If so, how can it be fixed?

The new update came without any warning to anyone so LCPD:FR and most if not all other mods do not work with the 1.0.8.0 patch.

Here's my method of downgrading, it may not work for you:

Spoiler

PLEASE MAKE A BACK UP OF YOUR FULL GRAND THEFT AUTO INSTALLATION BEFORE DOING ANYTHING.

-------------------------------------------------

This method has worked for me, it may not for you.

1. Uninstall GTAIV, make sure all traces are gone and the GTAIV install folder is completely empty or has been deleted.

2. Reinstall GTAIV,

3. Download the 1.0.7.0 title update

4. Extract and run UpdateTitle.exe

5. Ensure GTA has been successfully downgraded by right clicking on GTAIV.EXE, going to properties and clicking on Details.

-------------------------------------------------

Post back if it worked or if it didn't.
