ELS. Cannot see lights behind the glass

Featured Replies

Hi guys. First, Happy New Year to everybody. I´ve a problem with els lights when they are behind a glass.
I know is not an ELS problem because if I remove or break the windscreen in game, lights appear. On the other hand,
I can see the interior, the dash mesh and brake_m light then I think is not transparency glass problem. I have the same problem
with the lightbar glass ( I removed it, if not can´t see the lightbar lights either)

I tried to solve with no result :

- Put the lights up in the hierarchy over the lightbar mesh and glasses
- paint windscreen nodes in vertex mode ( channel A and black colour)
- Change texture transparency to different values ( in photos is coloured black, 35% opacity and saved in png)
- Tintvalue in vehicles.meta file by default cause the car is installed in police slot.

Any help?. Thank´s

Go to your materials and move your lightemissive material for your lights to be above your vehglass material for your windows. Also, make sure that your extras are above everything else like the glass (I normally put it just below chassis.)

This would have also been the fix for your lightbar. Just move the lightsemissive material for the lightbar above the vehglass material for the lightbar.

You already did the striked-out portion.
