Game crash on startup!

Featured Replies

Ok I downloaded the ELS package the way the readme told me to. I then installed Captain14's Sheriff pack . Unlike the tutorial I watched when going to install it didnt give me an option to install directly to my mods folder so I went through OpenIV and put directly in there. Now I every time I try to run lspdfr through rage hook the game crashes when it tries to load. I downloaded the crash fix the sheriff mod below told me to but the readme gives me this: mods\update\update.rpf\common\data as the location to install the fix. I have been through my files and openIV and when I get to update.rpf its just a file to click on which wont open. This is the first time I have ever done any modding like this so I am really just confused and frustrated at this point. Any help would be more than appreciated

i don't believe those cars are els compatible.

are you sure you have dinput8 and openiv.asi installed? if not you can do it through the tools menu in openiv. then run the .oiv install again and you should be able to do it to mods folder.

Remember: Always use a mods folder!
