LSPDFR Not Opening in GTA V

Featured Replies

Help! SO I have done everything I need to do to get the game, and it opens with the Rage Plugin Hook. After the loading screens, it launches right into story mode, but it is a GTA 5 story, not LSPDFR. When the game opens, on the right side there is a box that says LSPDFR installed successfully or whatever.

How do I get it so when I launch the game it goes into LSPDFR not GTA?

Thanks for your help in advance!

Do you have a gta v game save? If you don't have a save affiliated to your game, rage will always launch into the opening cutscene.

Rage doesn't "launch" lspdfr, you launch lspdfr through the plugin hook yourself via f4 button console.

Ok... Not sure. Basically I just want to know how I can get into LSPDFR to play... You said I do that through F4?

you need a game save in the main story mode to avoid it starting you in Yankton (you can download a completed save and copy to your save game folder if you don't want to play through the story), rage just launches gta through the plugin hook as normal where it would load if you weren't launching it through the plugin hook, RPH is only the mod enabler.

Yes, F4 will open a console window, depending on what options you have set in your RPH settings (you can set it to load plugins on startup), you might need to first enter "reloadallplugins", hit enter, wait a few seconds, then enter "ForceDuty" and that will start lspdfr. regardless of how you load your plugins, you'll always have to F4 and ForceDuty.

However, for your own enjoyment and to make it easier in future, i recommend you read up on all the FAQ's, how to, read me and instalation guides for how to modify and load things into your game :)

So, I tried what you suggested. And I read through a lot of the documentation on the website. I am still not sure what I am doing wrong. See the picture... maybe it's not connecting to a server?

You need to get a save file or complete the story until you can free roam to a police station, which you've been told once already.

As stated above. You'll need to progress further into the storyline before you can use LSPDFR. You cannot use LSPDFR during the prologue. This can be achieved two ways.

  1. Progress through the story until you get into free-roam (i believe it's after the second mission)
  2. Download a 100% save file which has been stated by two other people.
