hi im new to lspdfr mods but what is this mod?

 

it says its for multiplayer but i dont know how to use it. How do i use it? will i get banned? please can anybody help me i have tried everything and i do have OpenIV

Only if you use it in Multiplayer.

You install it via OpenIV

It sounds like you need to go ahead and watch some openIV tutorials that they offer. You know it is working when you spawn that model in or the model with the modded texture and see it. You know what all that is in the readme or the name of the file you're replacing.

i have, i can change vehicle textures and what not, and i have the mod folder as well. however, i have no clue what its asking me to do all the readme says is "Follow the folder paths in this download in Open IV to the locations in the game files/mod folder files (^^^please do this one^^^)" there are 3 files update, x64v.rpf, x.64w.rpf. I go trough update, x64, dlcpacks it gives me 2 dlc packs. Thempheist pack, and the mpapartment. Do i have to drop both files files at the same place? right? because i do that then it seems like nothing happened. And even if i go to storymode to use, it does'nt give me any info on how to get it......

and as selendis said earlier. This is for single player. So i have little to no clue how to get the clothing in single player....

ok i feel like an idiot, i followed the files and actually found the place, so now i've dropped it there, but i still dont know how to get them onto my character in single player

Sadly not all devs give a good readme. You may have to search where the file structure is. Also every rockstar update screws with the settings as well. I don't know how you're all setup but I use Realism Dispatched Enhanced. It uses an open iv installer. Gives tons of new vehicles, peds, including females, and it is so easy to use. Until a better pack comes up I'm going to keep using it. 

I gave up on the manual modding. I prefer people who put the time and effort into the open iv package installers and good readme files to make my life as easy as possible. Those are people I will support and praise.

i agree, but anyways i have finally got the files into the place, They seem to go into multiplayer files, but the thing that confuses me is that they seem to go into MP files, im not sure why but is there any way to use those files? and you said realism dispatch enhanced adds stuff including female skins. Are those usable with lspdfr?

Yes, what I recommend is this

Start fresh with plain GTA V. Delete all your mod files and all of that B.S. and verify integrity through steam. Launch the game make sure it works just fine. 

Then use this:

JSGME is big in the flight simulation world for a mod installer. You know how to have to put files in your game directory for LSPDFR and what not while you use openIV mods folder to protect your core files? Well JSGME is the same concept as the openIV mod files for stuff that normally doesn't use openIV. But if you want to forget all that then do so


Clean GTA V
Install RDE 3.0 with Open IV (test game) https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/simple-trainer-for-gtav is the trainer that RDE expects you to have. It will have an added models menu and an added vehicles menu in it for RDE stuff
Install any scripts you want to run such as callouts, police radio, lspdfr+, ect (test game)
and have fun.

welp it works like wonders. Thanks for telling me about the mod! by the way in a completly unrelated question. Do you know what X64V and X64W files are?

Yep X64V and X64W are both causing me to crash when i place them in the update folder

Rockstar likes to hide a bunch of files in different locations to make our lives hell. Or to stop hacking. Who knows I think they just hate us. So I'm not sure. I only use openIV package installers now or things that are basic scripts. I gave up on random peds and cars a long time ago.
