Is there a way to use the stock SA Exempt plates on modded police cars? I read in another thread that it's set in carvariations, and I found "<plateprobabilities>", with no value entered, but I'm not sure what to add to get what plate.

Should they not be on there by default? The only reason i would see them not be there is if the moddeler has added his own plates to the skin.

As far as I know, it depends on how the model creator set the model up in the first place. 

@TNelson It depends. If the model is locked and used textured on plates, so the license plate texture is a part of the livery, then no. You have to UV map the plate to the license plate material, that means you have to be able to edit the model itself. Which 99% of the time isn't possible due to the model being locked.

You'd need to ask the modeler to add ingame plates to the model, which isn't hard and not doing it is typically just a stylistic choice. I'm sure they'll oblige if you ask politely.
