is there a program out there that i can download and it tell me my computer temp?

In most cases, Google is your best friend; you can find an answer to almost any question you can come up with. But, here's what I, an OCer, recommend for you (see below). "Computer temp" is too generic; I will take it that you want to monitor your CPU and GPU temps, as which are what most people worry about.

There's no need to run benchmarking tools just to check the temps of your computer...that'll give you the wrong results, since you would be stressing out the computer and causing very high temps.

Instead, just install and run simple hardware monitoring tools, such as Real Temp (which is what I, and OCer, use) and SpeedFan. These are generic tools for any kind of hardware. There are specific tools though, which I will elaborate on below.

Most motherboard manufactuers come with their own hardware monitoring software, which also can control fan speed, temp alerts, etc. For example, ASUS motherboards use AI Suite II to monitor and control the CPU temp and fan speeds (as well as do some "AI overclocking," which I don't recommend). If you want to monitor your GPU as well, most GPU manufactuers also come with their own hardware monitoring tool as well. For example, EVGA GPUs use EVGA's Precision Tool.

Hopes this information helps!
