I'm using customcar DLC because I have the new patch which made me  start all over... I was wondering if someone could tell me what I'm doing wrong and help me through it thank you.

You did not install one of the vehicle/carvar/vehicles.meta files.

I installed it in Darkmyres customcar DLC and in the carvar file their.. Then I launched the game and it wouldn't spawn and said invalid model.

Humor us, please.  Go into the custom DLC and verify that the meta and carvar for the actual model exists.  If they do, go into vehicles.rpf and verify the vehicle is there.

Did you manually put in the meta and carvar (the actual code), or did you just drag and drop?

I drag and drop from the author of that file.

Did you add a custom DLC line for the pack in dlclist.xml?

yes I've spawned other vehicles fine just a few having small issue with.. I have the newest patch could that make the difference?

Oh, so this custom DLC has all your cars, not just this pack?  I suppose the newest patch could be an issue, but if it's saying it's an invalid model, then something is missing or wasn't actually added like you thought it was.  If you haven't done it yet since starting this topic, go into the meta and carvar and verify everything is correct.  No name mistakes on the meta, cavar, or vehicle files.

I need you to verify something.  When you look at your vehicles meta, are you seeing this at the very top:

I'm amazed your game hasn't crashed on loading.  The meta and carvar are messed up.  You have end tags that are right at the very top!  Has any vehicle from that meta/carvar been able to spawn, or no?

no.. I only can spawn the ones that have no extra files... so may I ask what I did wrong?

I don't know if it was you, or the way the author formatted it, but the meta and carvar are a bit messed up. Just in case, I advise you make copies of the meta and carvar and throw them in a temporary folder.  I've attached my meta and carvar.  Open a notpad and type out the names of the vehicles that are in that dlcpack so you remember them.  Then drag and drop my meta and carvar to your desktop.  Open, and put in the names for your cars.  Delete all of the extra vehicles in both files, and just leave the ones that are yours. I have a large gameconfig that allows me to have a lot more standalone cars.  If you try to use my meta and carvar as is now, it will crash your game.

Next, readd both files in OpenIV.

I figured this was an easier solution than to try and have you manually edit/fix the mistakes.  We can do that if you prefer, just let me know.
