It already has full control and yeah, I've updated it before.

When you updated it previously,  did you also install mods right away...and the game still worked?

I think you may have unintentionally installed something incorrectly, which is leading to this.  You can wait and see if someone else has a better suggestion, but I advise removing the mods one by one until you figure out the issue.

You're welcome - sorry I can't offer more help. :(

One  thing.  This may be very obvious, but you used a mods folder, correct?

Also, if I may, start with removing the real game changing stuff, such as the gameconfig, sounds, and weapons.

Just swiftly read through the topic and thought this might be worth a mention. Now I know you have tried the gamefig thing before but if you have a few mins free, check this out:

I went for the new version (0,5x traffic) and since adding that, I can seem to add more police vehicles as add-ons (12 so far) and be able to edit more carvariation and meta files etc. Prior to this editing many files just wasn't working for me, and trust me I spent hours looking for a solution.
