I need help i cant install any car mods after latest game patch... i updated rage and script hook and installed the cars correctly.. before the update it worked perfectly

do you have updated your mods folder in OpenIV??

had the same issue a few patches ago and had no idea,open OpenIV,go on your "mods" folder,on the right there is a button to update your folder because the game is patched ;)

I reinstalled the geme... i dont think thats the problem

I already reinstalled the whole game so i dont think thats the prob

Yeah i didnt forgett that aswell

There are also certain scripts that dont work (vehicle search, simple trainer...)

When you say you cant install vehicle mods do you mean there not spawning in game? or can you actually not install them through openIV.

They are not spawning... just the default cars

then you put it maybe in the wrong .rpf

look at this site,there are all locations of any vehicle,maybe there is a patch that overwrite your modded car http://gtaforums.com/topic/788114-v-pc-vehicles-files-list/

 

What issues are you having? What's wrong? Are the cars not showing up? Is the game crashing?

Same here, placed them in the latest folder which was patchday10 before the updates for they worked fine and the mpbiker, patch day11 and 12 don't contain any updated police cars just new ones even my addon cars are returning a invalid model when I try to spawn with simple trainer. Haven't tried replacing them in the original files yet, lost power due to hurricane but that was my next step In trouble shooting.

Im just reinstalling GtaV... hope that fixes the problem
