Vehicles shaking? Bouncing? Please help!

Featured Replies

Hey guys! I've recently learned to model and I think personally I'm doing a decent job, though my vehicles aren't the best when it comes to stability but then again I don't have a single handling line for any of my dev vehicles sadly, so I use handling lines that the vehicles should be exactly what I use which has worked, atleast for my 2010 charger anyone able to help? I can give you the exact name of the vehicles I used. I used a 2011 CVPI, 2012 Charger, 2013 FPIS? and a few others, my main thing that I would truly love to have help with is my silverado... It's a "2007-2013 Chevy Silverado 1500" Please help! thanks, J

Also btw I'll post a link to a video of the bouncing, and note I don't really do anything personally from my common/data I just drag and drop what looks good (car packs handling, vehicles.ide, etc usually)

I believe it has something to do with the local axis for the object & the dummy.

I google searched your problem & came across this thread on gtaforums.com & thus found this video. Hopefully the video helps.

Normally I wouldn't search it up, but it's been at least a year, since I've worked with zModeler.

However, I do know that happened to me once or twice, & if I remember correctly, upon re-importing the car into zModeler, that was shaking, the chassis dummy wasn't in the exact center of the X, Y & Z axis, therefore resulting in the shaking. The farther out it was from center (if I remember correctly), the more "intense" the shaking was.

I apologize ahead of time, if this isn't the solution for you, but like I said it's been at least a year or more since I've worked in zModeler.

Cheers,

I'll get to checking on that tomorrow since it's abit late but thank you for the help whether it works or not! :)

You may check handling lines too. If you've modified them, it will make vehicles do that if the suspension is too hard/tight. Or it could be the model, possibly both.
