Hello everyone,

I was wondering if anyone could assist me with finding out why my game keeps randomly crashing. I run multiple plugins related to and including LSPDFR. I also have remodeled almost every vehicle in the game (146 custom models, I believe). I also want to point out this was happening before I remodeled my vehicles. I honestly think it's a faulty plugin, model, or file. I have included my last three crash reports, in case that can help diagnose the issue.

 

Here are my specs:

AMD A10 6800K 4.4Ghz black edition, 16GB DDR3 1866Mhz, Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 gaming

lol those mini crash reports are unreadable. here is a good way to check and see what might be crashing. when you are playing the game and the game crashes, press F4 and look at what is on the screen. alot of times it will tell you if a script was about to kick in or it did and it crashed and burned. i removed Computer+ because it just wasn't working correctly for me, but i dont remember it causing any crashes. lemme know if ya find out the problem or not and i will have you post the other crash reports.

Hey, man. Definitely let me know where to get those other reports from, because I can't figure it out. I've recoded so many files, but even replacing them all and going full vanilla with just my plugins and whatnot so I can still play lspdfr won't work. It's at the most random of times, too, usually right when I am about to get a call. I really feel it's a plugin, but I read the reports after every crash and nothing odd pops out at me (I figured that's what those mini crash reports would show, lol). I'll try removing Computer+ and go from there. Sadly, it started happening when I added Clear the Way, Better EMS, and Siren Mastery (which I installed all on the same day). I hope it isn't one of them!

The file you need to refer to is your ragepluginhook.log file. Immediately after a crash, open that file, look at the last few lines, and see if there's any info about what kind of crash it was. If so, post that info here.

Some people do have crashes with clear the way so def try that as well. It cant hurt to check it out :)

I haven't had a crash since removing Computer+. It sucks because I love that plugin, but it beats constant crashes!

yes it does! i was having basically the same problem so i removed it too. but maybe once the author updates it we will get a better working copy. good thing is your game is working again. nice job
