GTA 5 Redux Crash

Featured Replies

Hello my name is Dracuslayer. I recently installed the gta 5 redux mod. i followed the guide in the video on the website of the mod to the tee. I load up the game just handy. I am playing the game for like 5 minutes and it crashes. I looked in Event Viewer and this is what i found. Not sure what this means. I tried searching to find a fix and no luck. Below I have typed in the general information and then the detail friendly view as well as the XML view. I hope someone can help me with this. for now I will be removing my game file to a folder not being use so incase for trouble shooting steps or untill a fix is found. Has this happen to anyone or does anyone use this mod at all. Thank you for your time.

Problem lies with Redux. It's very buggy as hell. An alternate to Redux would be VisualV. But if you still wish to run on Redux then trace back on how you install it.

1. Install the package into "Game Folder", not mods.

2. Applied Day 1 patch of Redux

If still not working, try and remove enb + reshade.
Files includes;
ReShade(folder),
ReShade64.dll,
ReShade.fx,
SweetFX.fx,
dxgi.dll,
d3dcompiler_46e.dll,
enblocal.ini,
enbseries.ini,
enblightsprite.fx

If you realized that you installed Redux into the wrong directory, re-install your GTA V.

Had the same problem.

Apparently it only loads correctly with x64a, x64e and x64w in the mods folder. Installing Redux places all of the x64 files into the mods folder and causes a crash. Worked for me :)

The proper procedure is to copy all of the x64 files aswell as the other update files.  It took me 24 hours of troubleshooting before I realized that all of the x64s were needed in the mods folder
