New Callout Plugin

Featured Replies

Hey there!

I am currently working on my first ever script, or better plugin for LSPDFR. I have started with getting used to LSPDFR and RPH programming same days ago and I am working on doing a Callouts Plugin.

Does anyone have any suggestions in terms of Callouts etc.? I would like to add some things we dont already have. This might also include rather "boring" or unspectacular stuff, but thats also part of being a police officer. Right now, I have 3 different things in my mind, but it will definitly take a while before I can release something.

So, long speech short, share any suggestions about callouts you miss with me :)

Definitely want stuff that we dont already have. Possibly teens graffiti'ing a building in downtown LS? Machete wielding man in Mirror Park? Kidnapping in progress (Not where there was a kidnapping and the victim is in the backseat of the car, but rather a person is trying to lure childing (or someone) into a car, or they are getting physical with them, etc), and definitely more backup calls. I only know of an officer requring backup in a traffic stop, and one where he pushed his panic button,  but whynot get an officer thats in a pursuit with someone? Or possibly an officer hasnt replied to dispatch (or went missing/possibly missing) while patrolling the mountains? Maybe an officer is in a fight with multiple subjects (Fist fight or knife fight maybe?)

Just some ideas that i personally would like to see/have more of.

You have some pretty interesting suggestions there!

For the beginning I guess I have to keep callouts farly simple, but I'd really like to do some of those, lets see what I can do.

Oh and yeah, I definitly nothing we already have. I would rather have boring callouts and more diversity (I mean you can still decline it :D ) than another pursuit callout^^

Id rather have more realistic callouts than a pursuit every 5 minutes also, but i believe the only other pursuit callout we have is in Albo's callouts. I could be wrong though. But things that an officer would do on a day to day, like deal with teens being teens, or helping out an officer, or maybe even a kidnapping are things id like to see. Cant wait to see where this goes!

I'd suggest focus on things you personally find enjoyment in. You'll put more time and effort into something you want to work wonderfully in your game, than something some random string of letters has nagged you into making.

Just for the love of god please don't make any pursuit callouts. We have far far too many of those already lol

Oh, I guess I will have to delete "Very nice Pursuit Callout" and "Most epic Pursuit ever"

Kind of unrelated question: Do I need a certain rank to have a forum signature? I cant find this option anywhere, so I thought that its maybe restricted

Maybe a stolen bycicle.

Or property damage. Like a stabbed tyre or scratched door.

Local residents complain about loud music or disturbance of the peace.

Or you have a dope house where you have to arrest the suspects and collect the evidence.

Or a special callout for the narcotics unit where you have to rush into a dope house to surprise the suspects.

A shot dog.

Zu Befehl!

Especially the "dope house" thing I really thought about much and I already have some ideas for that, but I have to take it slow because its pretty time-consuming ...^^

Proof I am actually doing something: :D

Okay, here is a list of realistic call-outs that officers deal with all the time:

Panhandling:

1. Homeless asking for money.

Tress-passing:

1. RP states an individual is on their property and has been notified to leave multiple times.

2. RP states that it's their husband/wife own their property and they have a restraining order against them.

Disturbance:

1. RP reports a couple verbally fighting.

2. RP states that loud noises are coming from nearby (Noise complain - Idea: spawn a couple or group of people nearby like in an alleyway or some shit with music or something).

Shots Fired:

1. RP states that they heard something that sounded like a gunshot. Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't

Suspicious person:

1. RP states an individual is in the parking lot looking into cars.

2. RP states a male is holding what looks to be beak-in tools of some sort (spawn them with like a hammer, or a flashlight, crowbar)

Smell Of Marijuana:

1. RP states that they smell a weird odor coming from nearby.

Possibly Stolen Vehicle:

1. Use that Crime Stoppers phone line lol. RP states that they see a parked vehicle that might be stolen when they looked at the plate. (could be stolen, or not. Hook it into Police radio and LSPDFR API.)

2. Person noticed a car driving down the road, plate matched possible stolen vehicle (so this one is mobile).

If I think of anything else, I will add more.
