I'll tell you all one thing, working with rotary lights is a b*tch. The lights just seem to be random and no matter what I do to the start values, I still can't get it to look the way I want it to. I'll keep you all posted on the progress.

Hope you make a break through and good luck. Also thanks for all your hard work on this project.

What is different in this video is I changed some of the lights using GravelRoadCop's unsynchronized sequencer values. I, personally, think it looks nicer and more realistic, it also adds a little variety to the pattern. My favorite part is the traffic adviser, it works really well with these patterns, and I didn't even make it look like that on purpose. A downside to using these sequencers is they might not look too good on all cars, I'll experiment with other models and keep you all posted.

As for the status on rotary lights, they are slowly but surely coming along, but I am experimenting with having LED patterns with slower rotary lights. (Any help would be appreciated!) I'm taking a break on rotary lights, though, because LEDs are much easier and make more sense. I might just release the unsynced pattern in a small update, then release the rotary lights.

A few different cars, with these cars you can see the unsyched lights a bit better, and I also made some changes to the carcols in the time between those videos.

Just made a quick little traffic adviser for Bxbugs' CVPI. This is not B.E.L, nor will this be released, unless a sirensetting switching mod comes out. (I know about PNWParksFan's script, but sirensettings above 13 aren't compatible with this script and this uses sirensettings 21.)

Next update for B.E.L. will probably contain

  • Firetruck patterns
  • Ambulance patterns
  • Unsynchronized lights
  • Better rotary lights (maybe)

Ambulance pattern. As of right now the back part is the only section with a pattern, and it's not even finished. I just thought I'd share what you can expect the ambulance patter to look like.

Note: this is a very early stage of B.E.L.'s ambulance pattern.

Better video showing the B.E.L. pattern, however there are a few catches. In order to use this pattern, you will need an LED ambulance, and the pattern is optimized for @PimDSLR's LED ambulance, so once this is released I'd recommend you should download it. Any other LED ambulance will work, but no ambulances with rotary coronas will work. The other problem will be shown later.

You can download the ambulance here:

You can look for another LED ambulance, but odds are this one will look best with the pattern.

@joe25@TrooperTom and everyone else who has noticed the white cars bug, I am happy to say that now it is fixed. I still have to fix it on every other vehicle except police4. But overall, the good news is, by the time the next update for B.E.L. comes out, your vehicles will be fixed. For those of you unaware of this bug, it would cause all of the vehicles effected by B.E.L. to have a white paint job with an ugly white pearlescent which would show through a vehicle's livery.
