Which gaming mouse should I pick?

Recommended Posts

I recently have a roccat Kone pure military mouse but I gave it to my friend as a present since I am already planning to get a new one to upgrade from that mouse..(currently using my old ge optical scroll mouse)

So far I am looking at the ec2-a and fk2 (budget has to stay around 65 dollars or under)

So before recommending any other mouse Which one will fit these needs?

-palm grip

-small to medium hands

-Precise aiming and response to fps games and maybe mobas

-Great sensor

-Lack of skipping

-Side buttons that can be programmed for key macros and good quality

-Side buttons that are easy to reach with my thumb without letting go of the grip of my mouse

-good scroll wheel for gaming especially on gta v where the scroll wheel is needed at times

-little to no spinouts

Any advice would be appreciated

I use an Logitech G300s, It's a nice mouse in my own opinion.
http://gaming.logitech.com/en-us/product/g300s-gaming-mouse

I got it at Eb games. (which is the Au branch of Gamestop) so I think you might be able to find one on GameStop.. It's around 40 UD

I have only used the first one and i can say it is conformable and very nice for the price, I cant see spending 60 on a mouse that is similar to this one.Watvh a couple youtube videos on it

So is the redragon m601 performs just like or similar to the ec2-a?  Unless you don't really know which is fine

Wait what videos did you watch on what certain mice? the dragon or the mouses I listed?

I am not sure but i assume it has the same functionality and similar specs/features. Search the redragon review on youtube

I think i know what mice I want now, the razer deathadder chroma since the buttons are bigger than the ones you listed and the other mices listed at your price that have such similar features have more cons than pros, yours isn't a bad choice though

I'll create another thread about my final mouse choices

Before I talk about this, my hand is comfortable with a palm grip on these mices I have used in the past: m310, and this: https://www.amazon.com/GE-Ergonomic-Design-Optical-98529/dp/B004Z2991K

So after researching I found that the rival 300 and g303 catches my eye than anything else

So I am looking for a mouse that is great with fps games but also:

-build quality

-Superior sensor tracking

-Good size for my grip and hands (look at top for more info)

-Side buttons are easy to access and to execute with no trouble with any grip esp. mine

-great scroll wheel for switching weapons and inventory selection

-lacking sensor rattle?

-Responsive clicks

- no noticeable spinouts

If these don't cut it then recommend me a great mouse that will meet all of these needs though it may be difficult

I've merged your two threads as there really isn't any need to create a new thread when you've "made a decision".

To comment more directly though, I personally use a Cyborg R.A.T 5 gaming mouse. Although it's now definitely showing its age it's a great mouse and it looks fantastic. I love how everyone I know who comes round my house and sees it immediately goes "what the fuck is that?".

Benefits are it's customisable. It comes with weights so you can adjust how heavy the mouse feels, the palm grip slides in and out depending on how you hold the mouse, precision key plus 3 macro modes so each key can do 3 different things if you really want to. thumb scroll and normal scroll wheel and finally on the fly DPI switcher. You could probably pick up a RAT 5 reasonably cheap these days as well, I'd recommend maybe going for a newer model.

So since I made my decision which one of the two mouses according to my previous post will fit well with my hands, again the info is in my previous post about my hand size and which mouses it fits well in, try your best

Only you can really decide that. I wouldn't buy a logitech mouse personally. If you've narrowed it down to those two then compare the specs to see which is better to suit your needs.
