So I need to get a new graphics card to even try and play the game....can anyone suggest what i should get?! I'm running windows 7 with  an Intel 2 Quad Cpu Q9400 @2.66ghz 64 bit op system with 8 gig ram..I'm guessing i need to update the ram too but I'm curious what someone might think is the best graphics card is to start. Thanks for the input!

I'd suggest trying to pick up a new cpu like a i5 6400 and a gtx 1060 or a rx 480 

Hmm, a new graphics card isn't going to do you much good tbh. Ideally you're going to need a whole new system. 

I5 6500, RX 480 would serve you well. 

I just got a rx480 today after being looking for a new graphic card, but as the other mates comented, you will need also a new cpu or you will have a big bottleneck and thats not good :/

So being not so savvy myself..how hard is it to install a new cpu? Push comes to shove i'll bring it to my cousin who works on and builds computers....but he lives a little ways away

on the bright side, it's unlikely you'll ever need more than 8 gig of ram, unless you want to play some really badly ported game that hogs resources.

You can upgrade if you want but you won't get as big a performance boost than if you replace your cpu and gpu

Have you ever played with one of those toys where you put the shapes in the holes? Same difficulty as that. Plenty of tutorials on YouTube however.
