Did you try reinstalling .net framework , 2010/12 c++ and latest directx? You seem to have a .net framework of less than 4.5.1 version and missing mscvr100.dll and d3dx9.dll. You can fix this by reinstalling the above mentioned things. Links can be found in the topmost sticky of this forum, and latest directx is usually there in the game folders of new games(i reckon you have some new games). Try these and let us know.

Hello there -- welcome to LCPDFR.com and thanks for trying out LCPDFR!

Please do the following:

  • Make sure you aren't using a crack - We don't support cracks or people using pirated software
  • Update GTA IV to 1.0.7.0 (the latest version of the game, or 1.1.2.0 for EFLC) - These patches are needed.
  • Make sure that you run the game as an administrator.
  • Make sure that your GTA IV root folder (and every subdirectory) is not set to "read-only"
  • Ensure that AdvancedHook.dll, ScriptHook.dll, ScriptHookDotNet.asi and Dsound.dll OR Xlive.dll are in the GTA IV ROOT folder
  • Ensure that there is a folder titled 'LCPDFR' in the ROOT GTA IV folder.
  • Check that all the above files exist, if they do not, reinstall LCPDFR with the MANUAL installation.
  • Ensure that you are using up to date versions of every LCPDFR dependency and LCPDFR itself.
  • Install these: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30653 , https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679

In some cases, your issue is resolved after following the above steps. If it did help, please let everyone know in the topic that your issue is resolved. If you do have to post a topic, do the following;

  • Give a clear, detailed description of the problem.
  • Explain any circumstances surrounding the problem.
  • State what solutions you have tried.
  • Post ALL relevant logs (LCPDFR.log, Scripthook.log, ScriptHookDotNet.log, AdvancedHook.log).
  • Include as much information as possible.
  • Post your system specifications.
  • Post what other mods you are using. This includes car and script mods.
  • Post a screenshot of your GTA IV or EFLC game directory.

Please note that failure to follow these instructions may cause this thread to be closed.

If you want to me reply as soon as possible, then either quote or @CouthInk4  me as i'll be notified, a general reply will not notify me

Glad it helped, no problemo.

For above problems,

MSVCR100.DLL is a Microsoft Visual C++ file and is required by applications which were made with Visual C++. However, while downloading this file and copying it to the Windows\System folder should fix the error for most people, it might need to be copied to the game folder too. You can try reinstalling all C++ dependencies or just google download it and put it manually, though reinstalling '10/'12 C++ is recommended.

Now I don't really know what d3dx9_43.dll file is associated with but I am more than 50% sure that it is asscociated with directx. However, it should go in this directory "c:\windows\system32". Again I recommend you install directx first and then if it doesnt fix it, download that file and put it in that directory.

You will find them easily with google search and C++ thing with the links from CouthInk4's post.

Hope it helps, update us if it does.

This what the log said IDK what it means, though. I'll attach the log file into this reply because I cannot copy and paste it because it is just too long and freezes my browser.

No problemo señor.. Btw thats one monster of a log you got there, pray tell me does the screen say "there has been an error with lcpdfr and blah blah some of its functions or idk what wont work properly, it is recommended to restart the game/lcpdfr" something along that line?..

It happens with me too.. I just reaload lcpdfr through console(~ key) or just restart the game. It happens sometimes after playing for a while.. Dont really know any fix.. Sorry. But i guess given the nature of gta IV and complexities of modding it, its bound to happen.

Yea that's what it says but it starts after like 10 mins or so not after a long time if that was the case I wouldn't mind that much but what is the code to start lcpdfr again in game

Type "reloadscripts" without the quote unquote.. Well, that error happens when there is some conflict with other scripts and plugins.. I have a lot of them.. Keep it minimal and you will have a more stable game..
