i have the openiv creater package thing

but every time i create my package it opens as openiv and NOT the installer side, 

what iam i doing wrong?

Are you trying to install an OpenIV Package or create one?

ive created one, and save it to desktop, 

so when i click the NEW file it opens as openiv and not a installer,

I don't think you can open an installer by clicking it, you need to open it from OpenIV.

Just click install, I'm not really sure what your issue is or what you're trying to say.

really?

ive made 3 packages -

2 of them let me install them -

1 of them opens in the normal openiv window and not the install screen !!

What happens when you try to open it through Tools menu?

OpenIV > Tools > Package Installer

So, click on the "Open log file" link it will open log file and you will be able to read what's wrong.
