(NEED HELP) Photoshop Copy/Paste/Cut not working

Featured Replies

IK this is unrelated to LSPDFR/LCPDFR but its related to modding since I make skins, anyway I can't for some reason copy, paste or cut, the options are greyed out, like if i make a simple shape in a new document and hold ctrl+c then ctrl+v nothing happens and when i cut a shape (ctrl+x) also nothing happens, I came here since I searched on google for hours and nothing seemed to fix it.

Select the layer, press Ctrl+A to select the whole layer, then continue to copy/paste as normal. Although you've selected the layer, you haven't selected the contents.

I could just copy/paste and cut ANYTHING before but after i switched to quick mask mode things got messed up, but anyway i don't mind anymore since i usually just use Alt and move the object or drag it above the old one, oh and when i press ctrl+A it opens a Save window asking me where to save. I also can't cut anything, like ctrl+x doesn't work which is annoying because i have to manually keep clicking the delete button which is long.
