I know this is unrelated but seeing as you guys are active in this thread can you tell me if the issue in the screenshot is caused by an incorrect carvariation.meta file. I'm sorry for posting this in here and i will delete it after there is a reply but nobody else is helping me with it. So I can't find the screenshot but basically on my police car, some of the lights just don't work and the ones on the light bar on top work but they don't appear inside the light bar they sort of make an x-shape on top of my car.

Post a picture of it. It's most likely that the author of the model had arranged the lights to flash on a different sirensetting than the one you currently have.

Thanks to @Albo1125 for his guidance, I will be making Modern Siren Pack compatible with SirenMastery, unlike Realistic American Siren. This will allow users to have versatile options with siren tones

Well, to be honest, I would like to have a beta pack done next month if all possible. I got new hours at work, and it's taking up more free-time to do things, so I'm limited to weekends to work on the pack. But don't worry, I won't quit on this pack, it has too much potential.

Really looking forward to this pack. I read above that it will work with ELS aswell. I have not used ELS yet myself as I am waiting for the ELS vehicles to become polished versions. Will your pack contain different "versions" if you will to be used like your existing pack and a version for ELS? I do not know anything about ELS sirens and how they install so sorry if there is no difference.

Keep up the good work! Can not wait for the beta pack.

I have ELS installed and then I installed this pack, I don't notice any difference in the sirens though.. I Absolutely loved the Old pack and I installed it correctly just like the old one, so I know it must have something to do with ELS?? Im just not sure where to start, and unless I overlooked it, I didn't see anything in the install instructions. Does this pack still work with ELS?

I have recently come across a cleaner audio source of the Motorola Astro Spectra Siren, It will replace the preexisting lower quality tones in the next update to the Modern Siren Pack.

Here's a video demonstrating the new tones by stress testing it for 11 minutes in heavy traffic conditions.

So for those who are reading this right now, allow me to ask you a question that will help me improve the Siren Pack, and that is " What is your top 3 favorite siren models in the real world, and what siren models do you want to see in the next update ? " If you answer, you are contributing to the progress bar by inching it forward with new information that can enhance the overall quality.

My favorite sirens in real life would be:

1.code 3 Z3

2.whelen Cencom Saphire

3. fedral signal touchmaster delta

*not it in any particular order*

In no particular order...

Rumbler (Washington, D.C. Metro Police)

FedSig Smart Siren 2000SM

FedSig Touchmaster Delta

Edit: Ya know, Yakety Sax would be a hell of a siren to make just as an Easter Egg... Make it happen GRC

I've never heard of Yakety Sax before,  lmao. What can you tell me about it?

I got the Federal Signal 2000SM and Touchmaster Siren finished,  it's already in the Pack. I'm still working on the rumbler tones,  and hopefully I'll have it finished this week. The same goes for the Code 3 Z3 siren as well.

UPDATE 2.0.0 -2/9/2017

Added 1 new siren models to the pack :

  • Motorola System 9000 Astro Spectra Siren. Wail, Yelp, Hi-Lo and Air horn are the available options. This siren box is installed as default tones for ELS V usage.
  • Assigned Whelen 295SLASA6 wail tone as AMBULANCE_WARNING to act as 2ndary Dual tone.  Running this Whelen wail with the Motorola creates a sweet melody.

G'day GravelRoadCop,

Thanks for all of your work with this, still enjoying the pack and look forward to updates to come.

I wanted to ask if there was a rumbler included somewhere in the pack? I'm using Federal Signal Smart Siren but have gone through all of the other folders and can't find anything. Sorry if I've missed something.

Cheers,

Joe.

Hi there. Not yet. I haven't done any rumbler tones for the Smart Siren model  because I have yet find a good clean quality video source for me to record the tones. I don't want to use the same video that everyone else on this website have used to create the smart siren rumbler siren mods and it just doesn't feel original to me. But it is on my to-do list, and when I find what I need, I will release it immediately

Thanks mate, I respect that you care about having your own, original, high quality work - it is what makes Modern Siren Pack great.

UPDATE 2.0.5 2/23/2017

Added 1 new siren tones to the pack and 1 updated siren :

- California Highway Patrol Whelen Siren Tones, WAIL & YELP.

Please note that the wail tone is not the greatest right now, but this is due to a very limited supply of videos that shows CHP responding with full siren tones looping. I do not want to use the same video that the other two CHP siren mod authors have used. This is original and the wail is custom cut/edited heavily to sound properly. I hope I got it right ...

- I updated the Motorola Spectra Siren Wail tone with a better one, as it sounds more raw and cleaner. The Motorola Sirens are installed as default.
